Overview of the project

This is a weekend cottage situated within the deep mountains area of Bousou Peninsula. I stacked four cubes in two layers and I inserted the small cubes for the intersection of walls and ceilings and subtracted intersections by small cubes. The angles of small cubes are defined by “algorithms” so that space which is filled with both diversity and order is created. This antinomic sense of coexistence is the one of the characters of “algorithmic architecture”. I put the angle of the sloping site as the parameter of rotating angle of small cube to capture majestic natural scenery of its surroundings.
