House in Oyamadai

Overview of the project

This is a small house which was planned to be built in the residential district in Setagaya Tokyo. Because of the site is quite narrow and surrounded on all four sides by the houses, I opened the window for the direction to the sky as the large size top light. The architectural space is generated by morphing two kinds of geometry which the one is non-Euclidean geometry embedded in the ceiling and the other is Euclidean geometry embedded in the floor.
